The drill collars offered by GPE Oil Machinery Co., Ltd are manufactured using modified AISI 4145H chromium molybdenum alloy steel. These drill collar bars undergo full-length heat treatment and water quenching to achieve ASTM A-370 mechanical properties. Each drill collar comes with comprehensive mechanical and chemical mill test certifications, ensuring the highest quality standards.
With a hardness range of 285 to 341 BHN and an impact value of 40 ft.-lbs. at room temperature one inch below the surface, our drill collars are designed to withstand the toughest drilling conditions. The trepanning and drifting process, carried out according to API specifications, guarantees close tolerance bores for precise drilling operations.
The drill collar bars feature an "as rolled" surface finish, which retains the original mill finish. This ensures optimal performance and durability in demanding drilling environments.
