The Subsurface Sucker Rod Pumps are manufactured by API 11AX and have been API monogrammed and ISO 9001 licensed. Technology was introduced in the USA in 1980' s. More than 40 models and sizes of sucker rod pumps are available with the diameter ranging from 28 mm to 108 mm.
Sucker Rod Pump is also known as an insert rod pump, Sucker Rod Pump is one type of the conventional sucker rod pump. The Sucker Rod Pump is connected to the sucker rod directly; it can be pulled out with the sucker rod and does not influence the tubing, so the well inspection and workover are more convenient.
It can save half time and reduce the cost of the pumping test, thus the subsurface sucker rod pump is suitable for the deeper well. 
The discharge coefficient is an important factor in influencing sucker rod pump performance.
