Drill Collar is a crucial component in the BHA (Bottom Hole Assembly) used for drilling. It provides weight on the bit and maintains tension in the drillstring. Our API Drill Collar has received certification from NS-1, ensuring its quality and reliability.

 

Made from 4145H modified quenched and tempered steel, our drill collars adhere to strict metallurgical specifications. This guarantees a consistent maximum depth of hardness through full-length heat treating. The hardness range of our drill collars is between 285 to 341 BHN, and they have a Charpy impact value of 40 ft-lbs at room temperature.

• Connections are completed with a phosphate coating, protecting them from the elements and preventing galling during initial make-up.
