The Downhole Motor is a specialized drilling tool designed to convert hydraulic energy into mechanical energy using a power section consisting of a stator and a rotor. It comes in two types: single lobe (1/2) and multi lobes (N/N+1), depending on the number of lobes in the stator and rotor. Generally, a higher number of lobes results in increased output torque.

These motors are commonly used in various drilling operations, including directional and vertical drilling, horizontal drilling, deviation correction, coring, reaming, and sidetracking. They are typically used in conjunction with cone bits, diamond bits, and other drilling tools.

Our Downhole Motors can be equipped with an extended power section, offering significantly increased output torque and power.
