These drill collar bars undergo full-length heat treatment and water quenching to obtain ASTM A-370 mechanical properties. With each drill collar, you will receive full mechanical and chemical mill test certifications, ensuring the highest quality standards.
Our drill collars are designed to provide exceptional performance and durability. The mill test certifications guarantee a hardness range of 285 to 341 BHN, ensuring the drill collars can withstand the toughest drilling conditions. Additionally, the impact value of 40 ft.-lbs. at room temperature, one inch below the surface, ensures reliable and safe operation.
To ensure precise and accurate bores, all drill collar bars are trepanned and drifted to API specifications. The bar surface finish is "as rolled," maintaining the original mill finish for enhanced performance.
