Non-Magnetic Drill Collars for Well Drilling
GPE Oil Machinery Co., Ltd offers the API 7-1 NMDC Non-Magnetic Drill Collar in size 2.7/8". This drill collar is designed for well drilling and features a heavier spiral for enhanced performance.
The drill collars offered by GPE Oil Machinery Co., Ltd are manufactured using modified AISI 4145H chromium molybdenum alloy steel. These drill collar bars undergo full-length heat treatment and water quenching to meet the ASTM A-370 mechanical properties. Each drill collar is accompanied by comprehensive mechanical and chemical mill test certifications.
These mill test certifications ensure that the drill collars have a hardness range of 285 to 341 BHN and an impact value of 40 ft.-lbs. at room temperature, one inch below the surface.
To guarantee close tolerance bores, all drill collar bars are trepanned and drifted according to API specifications. The bar surface finish is "as rolled," maintaining the original mill finish.
